By comparison, the Jeep Grand Cherokee, might have more engine choices that offer a larger range of options, but most options aren't as efficient as the Highlander's engine, and generally, the performance is catered to a different type of driver.

The Toyota Highlander is a three-row vehicle with seating for up to eight. The Jeep Grand Cherokee only has two rows of seating. While they might be similar in length, having that versatility of adding a third row is a nice option, and of course if you don't need it, you can fold down the rear seats to net more room. You're also going to find in terms of front and rear legroom, the Highlander is able to edge out the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
