What's New?

Design

Performance

There are two powertrains offered for the Toyota Crown. There's a 236 hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder with three electric motors that's available on the XLE, Limited, and Nightshade. Meanwhile, the top-spec Platinum gets a more powerful Hybrid Max setup, pairing a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor on the rear axle for a combined 340 horsepower.

Every trim comes with all-wheel drive, but only the XLE, Limited, and Nightshade have a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The Platinum uses a six-speed automatic. The EPA estimates the Crown, with its base engine, offers around 42 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway. While the Platinum's more powerful powertrain delivers around 29 mpg city and 32 mpg highway.

Technology

The various trims of the new Toyota Crown are available with an abundance of tech. There's a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen running on Toyota's latest software interface, and with it comes wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Also, the standard is a wireless charging pad and a six-speaker sound system. On models like the Limited and Platinum, an 11-speaker JBL stereo is offered.

Safety

Toyota has a reputation for reliability, and this shows in the new Toyota Crown. Equipped within every model is a suite of features Paterson and Bergen County customers are sure to appreciate.
